Protection of Personal Information

In the cases it is deemed to be the data controller under the scope of the Protection of Personal Information Act no. 6698 (hereafter the Act), Anadolu Kültür notifies the data subjects during the processing of their personal data in compliance with the Article 10 of the Act and asks for the consent of data subject about processing of the personal data when the Act requires to do so. Anadolu Kültür shall give you notifications upon processing of your personal data on the below points:

• The identity of the data controller and if there is any, its representative,
• For which purposes the personal data will be processed
• The third parties the processed personal data will be transferred and for what purposes,
• In which ways the personal data are collected and the legal reason behind,
• The rights set forth under the article 11.

In the cases that personal data are not obtained directly from you Anadolu Kültür shall give you a notification within a reasonable time upon processing of the personal data in line with the effective regulations.

According to 11th article of the Act, anyone can apply to data controller and has right to:

• a) Inquire whether or not her/his personal data has been processed,
• b) Request information relating the processed data,
• c) Inquire about the purposes for which the personal information are collected and if they are used accordingly these purposes,
• d) Know about the third parties in the country or abroad to whom personal data have been disclosed;
• e) Request rectification if the processed personal data is incomplete or inaccurate,
• f) Request erasure or destruction of personal data under the framework of the terms set forth under article 7;
• g) Request the third parties to whom personal data have been transferred to be notified about the operations made as per the articles (e) and (f),
• h) Raise objections against the analysing of personal data exclusively through automated systems that is detriment to her/his interests,
• i) Request compensation for the damages arising from unlawful processing of personal data.

Final Provisions

If individual provisions of above terms and conditions are and/or should become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining terms of use. The terms of use and the entire legal relationship between the users of this website and Anadolu Kültür are subject solely to Turkish laws, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, place of jurisdiction is being Istanbul Courts in Çağlayan.
