Checklist for Inclusive Arts Workshops
This program aims to enrich the knowledge and perspectives of its participants through articles, videos and interviews that examine the theme of inclusion in arts education from different dimensions, addressing concepts such as diversity, equality/equity, access, openness, participation.
In the program, which offers a hybrid learning journey, participants are invited to discuss inclusive and exclusionary dimensions in art work with their colleagues who conduct art workshops with children and youth, to address the actors and components of inclusion, to develop their own practices inspired by examples from different institutions, and to design inclusive art workshops.
In addition to creating a pool of tools and methodological suggestions for conducting arts-based work with children, the program offers a guide and a reading booklet that provides starting points for institutions and arts educators to develop and evaluate inclusiveness in the field of culture and arts learning with a “holistic approach”.
